Hello.  Welcome to The U. P. HUNTER.  We are based in Michigan's wonderous Upper Peninsula.  Not only incredible scenery surrounds us but, an abundance of wildlife as well.  Ruffed Grouse, Canadian Geese, Ducks, Snowshoe Hare, Woodcock, Moose, Whitetail Deer and, in some cases, Elk are found on many dinner plates in the area.  

     I live on the boundry of the Seney National Wildlife Refuge, part of which is open to deer hunting.  Miles and Miles of wilderness awaits, interupted only by the ocasional "2-track" road.   The Manistique River runs through the Refuge and that  makes a very enjoyable canoe trip.

     This Group welcomes all  outdoorsmen OR women, not only hunters, but fishermen, campers, any type of outdoor activity.  Please, enjoy your stay with us.  We thank you for any input and interaction.
