I was hoping to stick a gobbler this fall but didn't get 'em close enough. Not these guys, but a couple of osceolas almost fed in near enough to my stand to give me a chance. Got the ol' heart thumping though!! Just like this pic! Hope you're having a good deer season.

finally got in the woods last week. went to the lease i joined in ga. saw some deer and actually got a shot a doe but she jumped the string. my first shot at an animal from a stand with this bow. i decided to try it again after 15 years. i remember now why i put it away. hot and humid and MOSQUITOES!!! also had a nice sow come in but she never gave me a good shot. even with all that heat and frustration it was great to watch the sunrise from a tree stand.
