About Me
Born in Fullerton, CA Attended Chapman University and became a Major League Baseball Pitcher for San Diego Padres 1973-1980 and New York Mets 1981-1982. Earned the Cy Young Award in 1976 after tossing 25 complete games. I had the honor of my number 35 being retired in 1997. I love Bird Hunting and Fishing. It is an honor to work with Outdoor Channel and create quality programming for you, the audience, to enjoy. I have been busy working on new shows to begin airing January 2009. This season will bring you so much information, new features, guests and locations! I have always been a Fishing and Bird guy, but this season presented an animal hunt that I will not disclose yet, but let me tell you. I'm hooked! My wife is going to be worried when I tell her. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to share my knowledge of fishing and hunting with you. I look forward to sharing these adventures with you shortly and I hope all of you are enjoying the hunting season!

I have been very fortunate to explore the world. My trip to New Zealand with former San Diego Chargers Punter Darren Bennett was especially remarkable. It is a beautiful country that I encourage everone to visit. The people are some of the friendliest you will find and the accommodations anywhere in the country are fantastic. make sure you bring your fishing gear. the fishing here is Outstanding!
