I have not been to the range or shot any real guns (I have shot my boys AirSoft guns) for over a month now, because of an operation that I had performed.
I am going through serious withdrawals at this time even though I still carry my "Roscoe" everywhere, especially now that I am convalescing and am unable to defend myself by any other physical means.
You will be happy to know (or not) that I plan to head for the firing line this weekend, and although I would like to shoot a rifle or two, and maybe my bow. I think it would be behooving to me, to stick with just shooting my 9mm auto-loaders.
The club that I belong to has many different ranges, archery, skeet, trap, 100 yard rifle, several pistol ranges, including but not limited to, steel plate targets, steel hanging targets, paper targets, and sometimes what ever else you want to bring to shoot at within reason. The club even has a pretty neat cowboy action town setup.
I have to drive around 10 miles to shoot, and the gas prices are bringing me down. So I went to Cabel's and found a real nice archery target for $49.99 plus taxation without representation, which I plan to use with great effect at the Central Command Bunker.
Pictures and videos may be forthcoming, (not that anyone cares) provided the flooding Mississippi doesn't decide too block my path to destiny.
