I haven't been able to publish to my blog in a bit.  So, I thought I would say a few words.  Firstly, I got a new HD flat screen TV which is an investment that has become well worth the money we paid.  At the same time we got the new TV, we got new HD receivers from Dish Network and that included a DVR.  Now that is some serious technology.  I became an instant lover of the DVR.  I don't have to sacrifice my ballgames to spend some extra time with the wife and kids.  I simply record and playback when they are all sleeping.  How awesome is that.  I have never been a big slepper, although I am a big snorer.  But, all my favorite Outdoor events that I previously was able to barely catch up in highlights and newspaper and online postings, I can now watch them on my own time without the annoying VHS tapes.  Very nice.

I am glad I am a member of Outdoor Channels social network community.  I really like these features.
