    The Hunt Is On

    Thursday, May 1, 2008, 04:54 PM [General]

Hey yall.. My name is Paul Wichmann I live in Austin Texas. I like live country music, hunting, and love to drink cold beer and fish. I am on my way to Texas A&M University to study wild life management/biology. the last couple years i have been guiding whitetale hunts on a 35000 acre ranch in old mexico. i have seen some deer that only the rich are able to see. during my time there i met people from all walks of life. but they all had one thing in common, they were willing to speend the thousands it costs to have the chance to nail the muy grande and i got to help. i am sombody who will probably never be able to afford to go on that hunt myself, but just being there and seeing the reactions when that monster walks out of the brush is well worth the torture of not having a gun in my hand.  So thats me .

Dude! Guiding has to suck if all you get to do is watch people spend thousands of dollars to shoot a 170 plus deer. I know I have been looking at all of the outfitters/ guide services in Texas to try and find something reasonable to allow my son and I to hunt but the prices are outrageous. Meeting the customers has to be very cool, but I'm sure there is always a few that you have mummbled to yourself saying "they have no buisness owning a gun or being out here". Hey far be it for me to judge. Good luck in school and nice fish.
