Dove a wreck for the first time this weekend. Unless you have seen it, its hard to describe. We've fished this spot before and decided we'd check it out. Hit the number, dropped anchor, down the anchor rope, hit bottom and nothing but sand. Bait fish in the thousands and a school of kingfish buzz us. I motion to MR we should make a loop and just take a look see. About that time I hear him hollar and turn to see a 600lb+/- Goliath Grouper stairin us down at about 10 feet. Snuck in on us some how? He turns and we follow him into this structure slammed with more fish than you could believe, grouper, snapper, hogfish, amberjack, permit, sheepshead.... This Goliath Groupa ascends to the top of this wreck and there are 4 more just chillin, ranging from 200 to 600lbs, the size of a vw bug. And barracuda, dang there were a lot of cudda's. Surprisingly, we only saw a few sharks. Burnt a whole tank on that dive exploring. I will definitely be making that dive again! Oh, my boy MR gets a nose bleed while we're diving, hince the blog title and earning himself a nickname...
