Turkey season is upon us, I hear them every time I go to the farm and slam a truck door. I can't wait to get out and bag a gobbler. I'm gonna miss part of the season because a friend is coming from Texas to fish with me at Dale Hollow Lake. That's gonna be fun. Look out smallies. Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted since December. What am I thinking? Today was the first warm day in a long time, 66 degrees. I got the fishing itch really bad and can't wait to get my boat out of storage. My new website is up and running, check it out at www.bluegrassbucksandbeards.com It has some info about my guide service here in Kentucky. it's still under construction and will always be getting updated as news comes out from Ky. Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. We're waiting for the 2008-09 hunting dates to be finalized. Spring Turkey hunting is April 12th - May 4th with Youth Only season being April 5th&6th. Shotgun and archery are legal for the spring season. Early Squirrel season is June 7th-20th. Please see Ky. Fish and Wildlife's site at www.fw.ky.gov for more information.
