This year was the first year me and my brother did not travel to our mule deer spot in the state of Nebraska, partly because of money issues and another part because it was our first full season of bow hunting and we wanted to see what hunting was like up here closer to the city. Well the place we hunt and is about 45 minutes from Omaha and it is about a 40acre piece of land with a wood line running through the bottom of the cornfield, the woodline is about 20 yards wide and probably 100 yards long (if its even that long) its big enough for about 2 tree stands and you got the place covered! but none the less all of the photos from our Leaf River trail cam are from this place i have several other pics a couple of does, some of coyotes and a few other bucks, my brother ended up harvesting the 5x5 this year, he thinks its because he used "Tink's formula draw # 2" but for anyone who asks he also gives me credit for the buck because i did all the preseason scouting and treestand positioning, but part of that may be because he thinks it mite make me feel better because i didnt get to harvest the animal, and it doesnt, im just happy he got the it! cause for me thats what its all about, is the experiences, and one of these days ill have one that i can put next to his!!!!! just takes time, the NUGE didnt harvest his first deer till he was 21 (I believe)!

It's election time as most of you know and today, the day I made my Outdoorchannel.com page asked me to do a blog, today is also the day Mr. Mitt Romney has decided to "suspend" his campaign in the running for our next President of the United States. I fell like I have been cheated as a country we have yet to vote there was only 25 states that got to vote on tuesday and as far as I am concerned most of them showed that Americans are getting dumber by the ages, first of all with Mr. Romney basically saying im out of the running we have the choice of three liberals to vote for! that severly upsets me, yeah president Bush hasnt done everything in his power to keep this country running at top speed but hey he is a human blame the man if you dont like him dont blame the party, any ways ill keep it short because this is not a political website and politics normaly irritates people on a whole but i happen to enjoy politics unless im talking to a liberal and then i find it humerous because they normally avoid questions and end up agreeing whith you but when you call them on it (its not what they said, even when the words come right out of the horses mouth) but anyways i just wanted everyone who takes the time to read this that basically if this keeps up the way it is going one day America wont be the America as we know it today, just something to think about!
