I live in Texarkana, TX now but grew up in Newport, AR; right in the White, Black and Cache River area. Lots of good duck hunting there. I still make it back up that way occasionally to hunt. My dad was in the farm credit business so he/I had lots of access to private land.
Welcome to the group

Just joined the outdoor channel so I am new to this also. I live in Little Rock, AR, you know its actually a beautiful state much to many Americans dismay. Anyhow, Ive been shooting trap for sometime now and absolutely love it. Now though, since I have been duck hunting a few times, I love it even more. We have access to some private land but my husband took me to Bayou Meto last Saturday. It was incredible. We will be going back this Saturday. We definitely have ducks in the state. We are getting a cold front Wednesday-Thursday so we should have a great hunt. Ill let you know! Sarah W. |

I just got home from a day at the club, wind came up last night so I had to run up to Colusa for this mornings shoot. I got a limit of duck and of geese in an hour and 45 minutes. It was great, we had 45 mph winds.
