Well uncle Kenny and my little cousin did it.Paul was able to get a shot at a big doe for his first deer.150 yards and the BARNES X does it again. Paul is only nine years old. To us here in NY. this is a big deal.Great job Paully and congrats grampa all of that time at the range has paid off. YA BOY!!

Well this morning kicks off Vermonts greatest week end the youth hunt for young folks 16 and under. My little guy just isn't ready yet but next year. I feel i must comment on this great oppertunity for Vermonts kids. Many states have this but my sad state of New York does not. I can get an out of state youth licence for 25.00 how can you go wrong? God bless any and all states that offer such a time honored tradition. I love nothing more than enjoying any hunt with my son. So this time next year i hope i can blog about my sons first whitetail. This year we are trying to get my cousins son a shot at a good one. My teacher and best hunting buddy Uncle Kenny is out with the lad showing him how to keep the dream alive . GOOD LUCK kids i am sure sumthins gettin it!!!!!!
