Hey Ya'll,
Well another great day at work ( worse then my worst day hunting ) and the lights are getting low and I'm drawn back to a saying my grandfather used quite a bit when I was younger " Son a man is only worth his weight if he can pull it". Well that's kinda what I want to talk about today. You know I'm not one that thinks that you have to be a member of every club out there to be a good outdoors man but I do believe that there are some who's objective is the betterment and preservation of the sport and I believe as hunters and outdoors man/women we should show our support. I'm not one to toot any ones horn so I'll not name those but we all know who they are. We also all need to lend our hands and time to the conservation of the areas we enjoy. Conservation is the responsibility of all of us whether we hunt public or private lands and the wildlife depends on us to keep their habitat alive. I'm not someone trying to say I'm better at anything than ayone else because I'm not, I just wanna be able to say at the end of the day that I did as much as i could to pull my weight as a outdoors man, as I'm sure we all do, and keep my dream and the dream of others like me alive for generations to come. I hope the season is taking off for all you guys, and I ask as your friend join with me in supporting our local conservation groups as well as the state and national ones as they fight for our lifestyle and love.
Thanks God Bless and Best of hunting to Ya'll
Jackie Wells
