Some nice video footage. Looks like turkeys are a passion. Looks like you have some awesome numbers. Sorry to say around here, Merriams are more like the barnyard bird. Nothing like the Easterns I grew up on in Pennsylvania! I'd been waiting 4 years for some turkeys to show up on my Thunder Ridge Ranch. Finally had some come in this fall to my millet field, but they only stayed for 3 weeks. I'm hoping they come back and nest in the spring and start a colony. Now I have to settle for pheasants and Hungarian Partridges as my resident birds, with some mourning doves spending about two weeks on their way south.
