I just got back from a hunt last week in MO with IMB Outfitters
(imbmonsterbucks.com) and bagged two big gobblers. I had two awesome
guides that really knew the farms we were hunting on. Alex Rutledge from
Hunter's Specialties was also in camp and bagged a pretty nice bird himself.
The first morning went according to plan. We set up on the edge of a
field and a big gobbler flew down checked out our decoy and I popped him.
The second day was not that easy. We called in two different birds and
they hung up about thirty yards away. Then my guide called in two more
from a long way off and they both came in and got within 30 yards of our decoy
and strutted and waited for her to come to them. My camera man and I had
to wait about 20 minutes until we had the opportunity to turn all the way to
our left and take the shot. Our result was two mature gobblers in two
days.
When I called my wife Melissa and told her about the first one she was so
excited. Then I called her the next morning to tell her about the second one
and she said are you getting them both mounted? Without missing a beat I
said, You bet baby...

Hey Brian, Those are some good lookin' turkeys - congratulations! Just tell Melissa that at least you didn't ask her to clean them! :-)
