I'm a long time gun hunter. but this year I will be hunting bow only.
went out and bought me a hoyt cybertec xt2000 bow this thing is awsome.
the reason behind my choice is for the last 2 years I have filled my tags in 2 to 3 weeks. and for the paople on here that don't know here in GA we are aloud 10 doe and 2 bucks. This year I did it QDM style only taking old does and 4yr or older bucks. it has got to easy for me with a gun and want more of a challenge.
so this year it will be with bow only! I have been shooting a bow for two weeks now and at first I was like what did I get my self in to but now after shooting every day atleast 30 shots a day from the ground and from my tree stand I think this is going to be my funest year yet. To be able to get with in 30yrds of a deer, bear, and hog is great.
So if ya'll have any tips please let me know! my grouping at 30yrds is 1/2" with 5 arrows. not where I want to be but I'm getting there. by Sept. I should be with in a 1/4". and that will do in my book. again feel free to post your thoughts or tips

As for your grouping... Well just keep in mind it only takes one good placed arrow to take down a deer i know I did it on 10-23-09
It was the greatest feeling of my life.
I took a big 8 piont at 15 yrd. with me new bow.
If you are keeping your shots in the kill zone then don't worry so much about better grouping. You will never get the the chance to use that grouping skill in the real field,You will only get one shot just make that one shot count . lol.
Grouping will come just by getting out there and enjoying your self and shooting over time..
