I have a lot of respect and admiration for many of the great hunting shows

 

that I watch every day. There are a few that just don't cut it though, mainly

 

due to there arrogance.......I have included a constructive Criticism e-mail that

 

I recently sent to Deer City USA. I should also say that I have watched this show

 

many times and some parts are good but mostly dry. Also, I should mention that

 

after the "host" told of other viewers that had concerns with the shows direction I felt that I would voice my opinion. Here's what my email read.

 

Just a few comments on the show. Great idea/theme but the starts of the show are slow and quite frankly boring. We really aren't that interested in the bull crap "humor" from the host. The show is all about hunting near town, so why not focus on it??? Anyways, I live on the east edge of Franklin Cty. in Ohio. I really don't like the exposure but it may open more areas for hunting from local governments.

if you don't like my sense of humor change the channel. The show is number three in the ratings after just 6 weeks on the air so don't expect many changes going forward. I am not trying to be difficult but the formula is working very well and the advertisers(the opinions that matter most) are extremely pleased. thank you for watching. Steve Gruber

 

What arrogance! I guess Steve doesn't realize that if me/we the viewers don't buy any of the advertisers products they won't be able to fund his show....Well I am boycotting the show and all its advertised products. I will also instruct all those that watch and or purchase these products to not do so any longer. Sorta like the politicians...if we don't vote for them then they won't have a job next election.
