So my question is this.......I shot a nice doe this past weekend she was at 19 yards and quartering away just slightly I put the peg above and to the right of her left leg just a little. I released and watched her take off with my arrow in her. I recovered my arrow about 40 yards from where I shot, with good blood about half way up the shaft. Im shooting Rage heads with 2" cut. I was 99.9% sure I hit my exact mark on her, Is it possible I hit the far shoulder and it bounced back out? Never had this happen before and am confused as to what happend? Needless to say I lost her so am extremely upset, any ideas are appreciated. Thanks Adam |
Need Help
Wow
It has been a while since I have loged into here, Hope all my friends and everyone for that matter is doing well. Not to much new here, looking forward to archery opener, went and got those Montana Decoys, never tried using a decoy, but from what I have been told they seem to work at bringing deer in. We where told when we bought this propert this past winter that there are between 5 and 6 real good bucks, I do have pictures of 3 of them, but every one around the property calls them the Vampire bucks because they only see them at night, hoping a good buck decoy will make them feel threatend.
It is nice this year I'm use to a zone where I could only get one deer period with bow and gun, so made for a short season if you where not too picky, this year though can take up to 5 so will be nice to arrow a doe right away for meat in the freezer, and wait for that buck to show up.
Hope everyone is well and you want to say Hi love to hear from you.

For Anyone
Anyone know how to get into a job with a hunting company? Not so much looking for being the hunter or anything like that, I'm a graphic designer by trade and would love to do that for a outdoor company. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
