Well the weather has been rainy for a few days now. A friend went out Sunday and said he saw 5 shooter bucks. This weekend is the first firearm weekend and bow hunting is allowed. So I am going to be going out Wednesday all day to see if I can get something in freezer. Even though bow hunting goes until the 15th of Jan it gets harder to hunt the public land that I am on. Once the first gun shot at a deer happens they go into hiding. But that also makes it more fun for me because I love a challenge. I just wish I could take back the misses I had with my old bow.

Hello to all. This is my first blog on the site here. Things have been hectic the last month. Archery hunting here in central ILL, and daughter getting married. I will try to post something at least two times a week as long as I am not in the woods. I also hope to get a chance to get to know some, or a lot, of you.
